Celebrities Sing Hom and Hui Xin took selfies with fans at Beijing 101 outlet grand opening
Taiwanese actor Sing Hom, who rose to fame from the movie "Café. Waiting. Love", was in Singapore last Sunday. He was invited by Beijing 101 Hair Consultants for the grand opening of its new outlet at One KM, a new shopping mall along Tanjong Katong. Also invited to the grand opening was upcoming Singaporean celebrity Hui Xin.
The grand opening program kicked off at 12pm with a lion dance performance on the main stage in the mall atrium. The emcee invited Sing Hom and Hui Xin to the stage next, much to the roaring screams of their fans. On top of sharing their upcoming works, both also thanked Beijing 101 for the invitation and the opportunity to meet their fans. With the Lunar New Year round the corner, Sing Hom and Hui Xin also seized the chance to send their Lunar New Year greetings to everyone.
Right after, both celebrities were led by the lion dance troupe to the Beijing 101 outlet on level 3 in the mall, for the ribbon-cutting ceremony. The walkway outside Beijing 101 was jam-packed with fans, shoppers and news reporters from various media gathered to witness the significant moment as Sing Hom, Hui Xin and a Beijing 101 Manager officiated the grand opening.
After ribbon-cutting, Sing Hom and Hui Xin returned to the main stage to perform for their fans and shoppers at the mall. There was also an autograph session on-stage, where the two friendly celebrities readily autographed and took selfies with fans in different poses. Their approachable and warm personalities won the hearts of many present.
Beijing 101 launches "Healthy Scalp Awareness Week"
Scalp is one part of the body that is often neglected. According to a survey, more than half of our population have scalp problems. The most common problems are oily scalp, itchy scalp, dry scalp, and dandruff; all of which could lead to hair loss. However, most people fail to realise the serious consequences of neglecting these scalp problems.
Singapore's leading hair care centre, Beijing 101 Hair Consultants, initiates the "Healthy Scalp Awareness Week" to educate the public and promote the importance of hair and scalp health. For more than 40 years, Beijing 101 uses only premium-grade Chinese herbs to fight hair and scalp problems. The results speak for themselves. Countless number of people, including well-known celebrities, have benefited from Beijing 101 treatments. In October 2014, Beijing 101 set a new record in the Singapore Book of Records by having done the "Most Number of Scalp Treatments At One Location". This is indeed a breakthrough in the hair care industry.
