Dang Gui (Chinese Angelica) 15g
Chuan Xiong (Ligusticum rhizone) 6g
Dang Shen (Codonopsis pilosula) 30g
Fu Ling (Tuckahoe mushroom) 15g
Di Huang (Root of rehmannia) 15g
Small pork ribs 600g
Seasoning
Seasoning:
Salt – Half a teaspoon
Seasoning powder (chicken) – One teaspoon
Chinese rice wine – One teaspoon
Preparation
1) First, rinse the small pork ribs with boiling water and put in a slow cooker.
2) Rinse the rest of Chinese herbs with boiling water and then bring them under running water for a rinse.
3) After which, put all the Chinese herbs into the slow cooker.
4) Add 3 bowls of water and all the seasoning into the slow cooker.
5) Cook for 2 hours and serve.
2. Cooling & refreshing bitterguard
Ingredients
Bitterguard 1 pcs
Shan cha (Chinese hawthorn) 10g
Black plum 5g
Shou wu 10g
Preparation
Put Shan cha, Black Plum and Shou wu into 500cc of water and cook with small fire for half an hour. After cooling off, put the soup and its ingredients into refrigerator for use later on.
Next, cut off two ends of the bitterguard, remove the seeds from the middle and cut into slices. Put the bitterguard slices into the soup that was prepared earlier and put in the fridge for 2 hours.
Bring out the bitterguard from the soup and serve with honey as a dish. Also add honey to soup and serve as a cooling beverage.
3. Chrysanthemum Senna Tea
Ingredients
Chrysanthemum 10g
Jue ming zi (Chinese senna) 20g
Wolfberries 15g
Logan meat 15g
Preparation
Put all the herbs and ingredients into a cup and pour in boiling water. Cover the cup with a lid and let the ingredients steep for 20 minutes before serving.
4. Black fungus & Red dates Soup
Ingredients
Red dates 10 pcs, Black fungus 15g
Seasoning
Rock sugar appropriate amount
Preparation
Wash, soak the red dates then remove the seeds. Soak till funguses become soft. Pour both in the boiling pot, add appropriate amount of water and rock sugar, simmer for about 1 hour and serve.

5. Walnut with Milk
Ingredients
Walnut 30g, Milk 200cc, Soy Milk 100cc, Black Sesame 20g

Preparation
Grind the walnut and black sesame into powder. Blend milk and soy milk together and add mixture into a pot and simmer.
While simmering, add in walnut and black sesame powder till the mixture is wholesomely blended. After which, add in appropriate amount of sugar and serve.
